Moore & Van Allen is not only committed to providing quality service to our clients, but to developing a culture that supports diversity and inclusion. We were one of the first area law firms to address these issues, and began partnering with clients, law schools and community organizations.

We have a Diversity Committee in our Charlotte office that raises awareness and fosters an understanding of the various ethnicities, cultures and religions represented within Moore & Van Allen and throughout the community. Our monthly educational programs on different cultures broaden our knowledge and perspective. Our social functions for minority students at area law schools as well as our sponsorship of organizations such as the Black Professional Network allow us to continue the dialogue.

Currently, we are taking the growing interest and participation within the firm to the larger community. We have formed a partnership with the Afro-American Cultural Center, a local organization dedicated to promoting African-American art, history and culture to help the center develop a larger profile in the community and increase membership.

These projects and initiatives point to our guiding principle: we all make unique contributions based on our individual educational, professional and cultural backgrounds.
