Litigation Legal Practice Assistant
The ideal candidate for this full-time legal secretary/practice assistant positionwill have previous litigation experience; possess advanced technical skills to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience using litigation software such as PACER, RELATIVITY and CASE MAP a definite plus. Candidates must also have excellent organizational ability, be successful at multitasking and work well under pressure. Frequent interaction with clients and coworkers requires professionalism and excellent communication and teamworkskills.Position may require more than 37.5 hours per week to complete essential duties.

Litigation Paralegal

Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor degree and/or paralegal certificate with experience in the Litigation practice area, particularly with large and complex cases. Familiarity with e-discovery and the technology involved in e-discovery, particularly Summation or Concordance and Relativity, preferred. Office Services Assistant-PT 1st shift
This part-time, 1st shift position in the Service Center/Mailroom of our Charlotte, NC office will assist with delivery of packages, mail, supplies, processing of all outgoing express packages and U.S. Mail services. Successful candidates will have the ability and willingness to follow instructions from the Office Services/Print Services Manager, to work well under pressure and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a valid and clean driver's license as position may require the driving of staff and/or attorney vehicles. Hours are 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Patent Assistant

This full-time position, located in our Charlotte, NC office, is responsible for a variety of duties for timekeepers that relate to organizing, preparing, filing, docketing and maintaining all U.S. and foreign patent documents. Generates documents necessary for filing and prosecution of patent applications in the United States, PCT applications, and foreign filings. Will also prepare correspondence, memoranda and other documents, proofing documents upon completion. Must have project and process management skills. A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification preferred. Specialized training in patent area required with at least 3 years of patent experience. Must possess excellent computer skills to include MS Word, Excel and the ability and willingness to learn specialized software. Print Services Assistant-PT-2nd shift
This part-time position provides print services (i.e. assembling, collating, binding) as requested, to attorneys and staff of the firm. High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Must possess excellent customer service, good verbal and written communication, and math skills. Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite is required. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to stand and use hands to handle, touch and manipulate objects.Hours are4:30 PM- 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
