Financial Services Associate

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking an experienced transactional lawyer for its Financial Services practice. Preferred candidates would have two to four years of transactional experience, ideally with some experience in finance or corporate transactions. Excellent academic performance and strong interpersonal skills are required. Competitive compensation package includes full benefits.

E-Discovery Counsel

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, has an immediate need for an E-Discovery Counsel. This position requires an attorney with a JD and substantial knowledge and experience with discovery in civil litigation and/or complex investigations.  Applicants must have knowledge of civil litigation procedures generally and strong familiarity with e-discovery and the technology involved in e-discovery, including Relativity.  Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing document review projects.  In addition, successful candidates should have experience with QC review, drafting privilege logs, discovery vendors, and client contact.

Staff Attorney (Hedge Reviews)

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, has an immediate need for a staff attorney to work in its finance practice reviewing and summarizing certain provisions of credit documents with respect to the treatment of derivatives products. The preferred candidate will have significant experience in finance and documenting syndicated loans.  Qualified candidates must also have strong academic credentials. The position has outstanding pay and excellent benefits.

Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Associate

A large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking a Mergers & Acquisition Associate with three to six years of experience, primarily in corporate transactions and general corporate practice. The preferred candidate is a team player and has a strong ambition to take ownership of transactions. Candidates should have experience with conducting due diligence and preparing ancillary transaction documentation and may have experience with drafting and negotiating commercial acquisition documentation including stock and asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and joint venture agreements. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication ability and excellent academic credentials.

Commercial Real Estate Associate

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate with one to two years of Commercial Real Estate experience. The preferred candidate will have experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting commercial real estate transactions in a broad array of areas, including leasing and title and survey review. Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation Associate

Moore & Van Allen is seeking an Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation Associate with two to four years of transferable experience with federal tax and ERISA issues in benefits and compensation matters.  The firm will also consider current tax associates with experience in a transactional practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in plan formation and administration and with advising clients with respect to employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A and finance matters.  Excellent academic records and strong writing and communication abilities are essential.

Securities/Corporate Associate

Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, a large law firm with a national practice, is seeking an attorney with two to four years of experience primarily in capital markets transactions, securities regulation, mergers & acquisitions and general business matters. Preferred candidate has experience in preparing and reviewing disclosure filings, such as offering materials and periodic reports, as well as addressing corporate governance matters and drafting acquisition documents, joint venture agreements and general commercial contracts. Accounting and/or finance background and understanding of financial statements preferred. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent academic credentials.

Litigation/Investigations/Regulatory Attorney

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a large southeastern law firm with a national and international practice, is seeking an attorney for its regulatory investigation and litigation practices. Preferred candidates should have seven to ten years of relevant experience. Our practice includes both regulatory advice and response and thus requires substantial experience in government investigations and/or financial services regulatory compliance. Qualified candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent academic credentials. Responsibilities may include immediate and significant interaction with clients around the world.
