RENDERINGS: How this Charlotte developer gained neighborhood support for project at prime site in Elizabeth
Charlotte Land Use and Development Consultant Bridget Grant was quoted in the CBJ article titled, “RENDERINGS: How this Charlotte developer gained neighborhood support for project at prime site in Elizabeth” which was published on July 16.
The article:
Despite the headwinds a previous petitioner faced for a prime intersection in the Elizabeth neighborhood, a local community group is in support of a new plan to build a boutique office building on that site.
Charlotte-based Crescent Communities filed a rezoning petition early this year to develop office and retail space, a project that's since been modified slightly to allow a 103,000-square-foot building with up to 23,000 square feet of retail space.
Grant who is working with Crescent on the project, said a great deal of attention was given to the architecture, particularly on the corner of Seventh and Caswell, to produce something "iconic."
