IP Team Authors Chapter for Westlaw Publication

World Intellectual Property Rights and Remedies
November 2014

A group of Moore & Van Allen’s Intellectual Property attorneys, including Steven Phillips and Emmett Weindruch, assisted in authoring and updating a chapter within the Thomson Reuters Westlaw publication World Intellectual Property Rights and Remedies. Their chapter, Chapter 50, focused specifically on matters within the U.S.

The book as a whole features analysis and commentary by leading practitioners on key intellectual property legislation from jurisdictions throughout Europe, The Americas, and Asia, as well as English translations of key intellectual property legislation from non-English-speaking jurisdictions. Each chapter clearly describes the nuances of local practice regarding how to register and protect copyrights, patents, trade, and service marks. Readers can find helpful guidance on topics such as trade names and business designations, utility models and industrial designs, and licensing and transfer of technology.
