03.2015

On March 17, Time Warner Cable News spoke to Executive Director Jake House of Citizen Schools North Carolina.  House spent a few minutes talking about the program and upcoming events happening around the state.  During the interview he mentions the importance of Moore & Van Allen’s mock trail apprenticeship program leading up to their WOW! event, an opportunity for the students to showcase all that they’ve learned to their friends, family and teachers.  The mock trial will be held on April 21 at the Mecklenburg Court House.  To view the full interview click here.

Also, Charlotte Financial Services Member and Citizen Schools North Carolina Advisory Board Chair John Gilson noted that during Citizen Schools regional and national board meetings, House spoke very highly of all the great work that Charlotte Corporate Associate Cowden Rayburn has been doing with the mock trail apprenticeship at Quail Hollow Middle School.
