McDowell Named to 50 Most Influential Women of 2010 List

Valecia McDowell was named to the 50 Most Influential Women for 2010 list by The Mecklenburg Times.  The purpose of the 50 Most Influential Women award is to recognize the important role women play in the local economy.  The honorees represent the most influential women in business, government, education, and non‑profit fields and are selected by a panel of business leaders based on professional accomplishment and community involvement.    

They will be honored on Friday, April 23 at a reception which will be held at the McGlohon Theatre in Uptown Charlotte.
