Litigation Team Featured Twice in NC Lawyers Weekly

The MVA Litigation team has been featured again for its work in the pro bono "Cowboy of Kabul" case.  The team defended William Dupre, a pro bono client, in the courtroom for the duration of 17 days, which included jury deliberations, in Washington, DC. 

On May 24th, North Carolina Lawyers Weekly featured a story on this case, spotlighting the litigation work of Larry Gwaltney and Brian Heslin.  On June 14th, NC Lawyers Weekly featured the case yet again when news broke that the case had been "dismissed with prejudice." 

Dupre said in the article, "There are not enough words or ways to express the kindness and professionalism that all the sensational people at Moore & Van Allen have given to me and my family, " Dupre said. "They stepped up and stayed when they didn't have to.  If it wasn't for them, I would have probably lost my faith in humanity too."
