George Hanna Receives Dr. I Beverly Lake Public Service Award

The presentation of the award took place during the first General Session of the NCBA Annual Meeting in Wilmington. NCBA past-president, Janet Ward Black, presented George with this distinguished award.

The Dr. I Beverly Lake Award is given annually and recognizes an outstanding lawyer in North Carolina who has performed exemplary public service in his or her community either with a single non-profit organization or with a number of groups in the community as well as through public service in elective or appointive office.
