Moore & Van Allen Wins Charlotte Business Journal's Corporate Volunteerism Award

On Thursday, September 23, the Charlotte Business Journal hosted the Corporate Volunteerism Awards.  Moore & Van Allen won in the "Improving our Schools" category for its volunteer efforts with the Citizen Schools mock trial apprenticeship at Eastway Middle School.  Attorneys John Gilson, Stacey Vandiford and Connor Childress volunteer each semester teaching middle school students the basics of conducting a trial while helping students work on their reading comprehension and writing skills.
