Schmidt to Serve as NC Journal of Law & Technologies Panelist

Triangle Intellectual Property attorney Trevor Schmidt was invited to serve as a panelist at the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technologies' upcoming symposium “Anticipating Dissension: When Legal Frameworks, U.S. Commerce and Foreign Markets Intersect.” The symposium is scheduled to take place on January 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the George Watts Hill Alumni Center in Chapel Hill, NC.
Panels will address issues such as arbitration agreements, choice of law agreements, intergovernmental IP laws, commonly used trade terms and franchising, all as means of limiting discord within the global marketplace. Professor Nicholas Didow of the Kenan-Flagler Busines School at UNC-Chapel Hill will give the keynote address.
