Schmidt Quoted in The Christian Science Monitor

Triangle Intellectual Property attorney Trevor Schmidt was quoted in The Christian Science Monitor’s January 12 article entitled “Domain names: Internet takes big step toward end of .com era.”  The article overviews the International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) domain name regulation and acceptance of applications for new Internet suffix options.

Schmidt remarks that the expansion will “clutter the Internet with unused or underused web pages and make it more difficult to identify legitimate webpages.”  The article can be viewed in its entirety here.
