MVA Recognized with Top-Tier "Best Law Firms" Rankings

U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers have recognized Moore & Van Allen in their 2015 “Best Law Firms” rankings, both nationally and within the Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina metropolitan regions. 

Moore & Van Allen’s (MVA) Charlotte office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in 21 practice areas.  The Firm’s Research Triangle office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in five practice areas, and MVA’s Charleston office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in four practice areas.  The Firm’s Corporate, Securities/Capital Markets and Trademark practices were also recognized nationally.  MVA’s complete list of 2015 rankings, which includes recognition of 58 total metro practice areas, can be seen here.

The U. S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are considered to be the leading survey of lawyers worldwide, ranking more than 12,000 firms in 120 practice areas.  Rankings are based on a collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys, and a review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.  To be eligible for a ranking in a particular practice area and metro region, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro.
