McDowell and Smith to Lecture 2016 Duke Law Winter Session

Charlotte Litigation Member Valecia McDowell and Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Member Zach Smith will be teaching courses at Duke University School of Law beginning in January 2016.

McDowell, a Duke Law alumni, will be leading Law 832: Internal Investigations, in which students will study and simulate corporate investigations of legal misconduct by employees and management.

Smith, who recently participated as a panelist at a bankruptcy forum hosted by Duke, will be lecturing Law 815: Advising a Distressed Enterprise and Its Stakeholders, in which students will learn the role of outside counsel in advising financially distressed companies through reorganization and legal proceedings.
