Whichard Chairs Duke Lacrosse Investigation

Durham Mayor Bill Bell appointed Moore & Van Allen Member Willis Whichard to chair a 12-person committee investigating the Police Department's handling of the Duke lacrosse case. The committee is comprised of law enforcement officials, attorneys and Durham residents.
Mr. Whichard, a litigator in MVA's Research Triangle office, is a former state Supreme Court justice and state legislator.
