Charlotte Corporate Member Colby Jenkins was published in the International Comparative Legal Guide to Secured Lending Finance 2018 on April 11. Jenkins’ chapter discusses the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) which is intended to serve as financial hub for to the Eurasian Economic Union (comprised of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia), as well as the first port of call for China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” (the “BRI”), a multi-trillion dollar development project which aims to integrate the infrastructure and economies of Eurasia.
