Melody Y. Malone
Melody Malone brings extensive experience to her clients in the areas of business and commercial real estate. Ms. Malone represents developers, investors, landowners, landlords and tenants in a wide range of local and multi-state transactions.
- Her practice involves all aspects of acquiring, financing, developing and selling commercial real estate of various types including office buildings, industrial sites and mixed-use developments.
- She represents landowners, including joint ventures and co-tenants, in the structuring of like-kind exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Her practice also encompasses reviewing, evaluating and resolving real estate issues in connection with the acquisition of corporate assets and providing advice to her clients on general corporate and business issues.
- She regularly provides advice to both landlords and tenants with respect to the negotiation and preparation of office, restaurant, retail and industrial space leases.
- She also represents both borrowers and lenders in connection with various types of loan transactions and credit facilities.
