Wesley (Wes) D. Thornton
Wes Thornton works primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate law. He represents public and private companies in a variety of transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, mergers, private placements, equity and debt financings, corporate reorganizations, and leveraged buyout transactions.
Mr. Thornton advises clients with general corporate matters, including entity formation and dissolution, corporate governance issues, and the negotiation and drafting of contracts, shareholders agreements and joint venture agreements. He also advises clients with filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.
Mr. Thornton also has experience with formation and other corporate issues related to non-profit organizations.
