He regularly counsels hospitals, health systems and physician groups on regulatory and compliance matters, joint ventures and transactions. For example, he recently steered the successful sale of a large healthcare group, including soliciting bidders and handling all corporate matters. His extensive healthcare experience includes serving on the Board of Directors of Duke University Health System and as Chair of the Board of Durham Regional Hospital.
For small and closely-held businesses Mr. Dauchert advises on a full range of matters, from executive compensation and benefits to shareholder issues. For publicly traded companies he has developed qualified and non-qualified stock option plans, deferred compensation plans, and other long-term compensation structures. Further, he has provided advice to key executives and boards of numerous businesses and organizations.
