Lauren Biek is a member in the Financial Services group. She has extensive experience representing financial institutions in domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Overview

Lauren’s practice primarily focuses on representing commercial and investment banks in leveraged lending transactions, including acquisition financings, recapitalizations, ESOP financings and other secured and unsecured lending transactions. She has experience in a wide variety of industries, including transportation, retail, manufacturing, utilities, chemicals and technology. While Lauren typically represents lead arrangers, agent banks and lenders, she also has experience advising corporate borrowers in connection with financing transactions.

Representative Experience

  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent on a $400 million multicurrency financing for a software company
  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent on a $225 million secured financing for a sponsor portfolio company in the oil and gas industry
  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent on a $500 million financing for a public utility company
  • Represented the lender on a $50 million bilateral ESOP financing for a financial services company
  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent on an $800 million multicurrency financing for a retail company
  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent on a $250 million secured financing for a transportation company
  • Represented the lead arranger and administrative agent in connection with a $425 million secured financing for an international airline
