Employment & Labor Practice

Colin Stockton has represented a wide variety of employers in employment-related actions, including Fortune 500 companies with offices worldwide, local enterprises with few offices and employees, and public employers such as school boards.

For employment discrimination cases in federal courts, Mr. Stockton has conducted all pre-trial activities including arguing dispositive motions, arguing discovery motions, taking depositions of plaintiffs and of fact witnesses, and conducting mediations.  He has participated in hearings related to the management of discovery for class-action employment discrimination matters. In non-compete and unfair competition matters, Mr. Stockton has argued dispositive motions at both the trial and appellate levels, and he has participated in hearings seeking injunctions and restraining orders.

Mr. Stockton has litigated employment matters in both Federal and State courts in North Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, and South Carolina.
