Beverly Binner is an associate attorney in the Health Law Group and counsels health care providers in connection with significant business matters and complex regulatory issues. 

A significant portion of her practice is devoted to assisting health care clients in a variety of complicated transactional matters, including sophisticated lease arrangements and management agreements.  Ms. Binner’s experience includes drafting and negotiating health care related contracts and service agreements involving a variety of issues, including, for example, physician recruitment agreements, professional service agreements and essential vendor contracts for health care providers.

Another important aspect of her practice is helping clients to understand relevant health laws and regulations and to develop and implement practical business measures to address those requirements.

Ms. Binner also regularly counsels clients on matters related to the following:

  • Federal and state anti-kickback and self-referral laws;
  • HIPAA and other privacy laws; and
  • Medicare/Medicaid conditions of participation and reimbursement requirements.

Of Note

Ms. Binner is actively involved in health care-related professional associations and activities, and speaks and writes on legal topics of interest to the industry.
