Certified Public Accountant
Meredith Garlington is a Certified Public Accountant who has served as a Tax Consultant in the firm’s Business Tax group since May 2003. She works closely with the other members of the tax and corporate practice group to assist their corporate clients with mergers and acquisitions, federal and state tax planning, sales and use tax research, and state tax incentive consulting. Her responsibilities also include inventory and systems analysis and the classification and treatment of fixed assets.
Prior to joining Moore & Van Allen, she was a tax manager with BDO Seidman, LLP, a national accounting firm, where her clients included a variety of closely-held and family-owned businesses.
