Katherine Coley serves as Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Government, Policy and Regulatory Affairs Team of Moore & Van Allen. In that role, she handles legislative, executive and policy issues for clients from numerous industries, including manufacturing, energy, and health care.
She works closely with members of the North Carolina Legislature and the state's executive agencies to build relationships for her clients, to push policy initiatives to support their business, and to resolve obstacles to their continued growth.
Prior to joining Moore & Van Allen, she served as regional field director for Senator John Edwards' 2004 Presidential Campaign. She has been involved in national and state politics for ten years, and has been engaged as an advocate in the governmental and public affairs arena for the past eight years. She began her career as a legislative liaison for the North Carolina Association of School Administrators.
