Robb Jenkins practices in the area of litigation, and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and employment law.  Robb has worked on matters in state and federal courts involving commercial contract disputes, class actions, internal investigations, securities account interpleader, commercial real-estate, and whistle blower claims brought under Sarbanes-Oxley. 

His employment experience includes Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, federal and state wage and hour issues, restrictive covenant agreements, trade secrets, reductions in force and unemployment claims.  Robb regularly counsels clients regarding these issues, and assists clients to investigate and respond to complaints filed with state and federal agencies.  He also counsels clients on policies and decisions to avoid disputes from ever arising. 

Representative Cases

Successfully defended a large banking institution against a Sarbanes-Oxley claim brought by a former registered bond trader. 

Obtained a dismissal for an employer accused by a former employee of unlawfully withholding the employee’s wages. 

Represented a large financial institution in a class action securities fraud case. 

Obtained dismissals for various clients from state and federal agencies investigating claims of discrimination and retaliation.

Co-Author, along with Randel Phillips, of the 2011 Supplement to the North Carolina chapter of Wage and Hour Laws, a State by State Survey, published by the Bureau of National Affairs.
