John Gilson practices in the areas of mezzanine finance, private equity and venture capital representing banks, institutional investors, hedge funds, business development companies, private equity groups, venture capital funds and sponsors in their buy-out, investment and finance transactions.  His experience also includes public and private company mergers and acquisitions and the representation of public and private companies in domestic and international transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions.

Prior to joining Moore & Van Allen, Mr. Gilson was an associate at a large New York City based law firm.
