Melissa G. Burns
Melissa Burns brings extensive syndicated loan finance experience to her financial services clients. Her broad based experience in the legal field includes the following:
- She practiced in the areas of transactional corporate, finance and securities law for a large mid-western U.S. law firm.
- She practiced in the areas of lending and tax-exempt finance for a large regional law firm and acted as bond counsel and counsel to issuers and credit facility providers.
- Working for the legal department at NationsBank (now Bank of America), she advised commercial lending and credit policy officers on structuring and documenting secured loans involving a wide range of collateral types.
- While with United Dominion Industries, Inc., she advised domestic and foreign operating companies on general corporate matters including sales, licensing, distribution, confidentiality and employment.
