Dumont Clarke, IV
Dumont Clarke provides sophisticated corporate governance and securities regulation counsel to his Fortune 500 clients and other corporations across wide-ranging industries, advising the directors and management at Lowe's Companies Inc., Nucor Corporation, Piedmont Natural Gas and other public companies.
Additionally, he has extensive experience in corporate and public finance gained from representing issuers, underwriters and purchasers, and has represented numerous companies conducting public and private securities offerings. His practice also frequently involves counseling on securities regulation issues arising in merger and acquisition transactions.
A former university professor of business law, Mr. Clarke continues to serve as a presenter and panelist for legal continuing-education seminars. He also serves on the State Judicial Council, making recommendations on judicial operations to the North Carolina General Assembly.
