Stephanie Gryder assists in the development and implementation of Moore & Van Allen’s diversity and inclusion efforts. In this role she works in conjunction with the MVA Diversity Committee to design strategic initiatives that foster and promote a supportive work environment. She is also responsible for identifying and promoting community investment opportunities related to pro bono and public service for both attorneys and staff.

Stephanie began her career in the Governmental Affairs Office of the American Bar Association in Washington, DC where she reported on a variety of congressional and executive activities of interest to the organized bar. She has worked in a series of public, private and nonprofit organizations including the Girl Scouts of the USA Public Policy Office, Nortel Government Solutions and Washington Resource Associates.  In 2008, she relocated to Charlotte, NC to serve as the Mecklenburg County Bar’s first Diversity Coordinator where she assisted in the recruitment, retention and promotion of diverse attorneys within the local legal market.
