Kimberly Cochran is on special assignment to Wells Fargo through August 2018, and is not practicing with Moore & Van Allen during this assignment.

Kim Cochran is an associate with the Litigation team in Moore & Van Allen's Charlotte office.  Kim assists clients in a range of commercial disputes in federal and state courts and private arbitration, including matters involving breach of contract, business torts, lender liability, and real estate disputes.  Kim’s experience also includes assisting clients with financial regulatory issues, such as recovery and resolution planning, corporate governance matters, international and domestic regulatory enforcement matters, internal investigations, and white collar criminal matters.  Kim is active in pro bono work on behalf of victims of domestic violence and low-income residential tenants facing eviction.

Kim earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as Symposium Editor of the South Carolina Law Review.  Before attending law school, Kim taught high school Spanish in Charlotte through Teach For America.
