Penny Hirsch Edwards
Penny Edwards has broad litigation experience and assists clients in a variety of complex matters including commercial contract litigation, employment litigation, disputes involving cemeteries and funeral homes, and commercial and residential lease disputes. Ms. Edwards has assisted clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers, administrative investigations, and mediations.
Prior to joining Moore & Van Allen, Ms. Edwards practiced with a large New York law firm, focusing primarily on securities fraud litigation, shareholder class action lawsuits, and broker-dealer transactions. She assisted broker-dealers in customer disputes before the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange. Ms. Edwards also assisted clients in proceedings and investigations commenced by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and various U.S. Attorneys.
