Tristan Fuierer brings experience to her clients in the area of intellectual property. She focuses her practice on patent preparation, prosecution, opinion work and portfolio management in the chemical arts, including semiconductor manufacturing processes, and biotechnology.
Ms. Fuierer practiced intellectual property law in the Triangle region prior to joining Moore & Van Allen.

- University teaching experience includes four years at Western Carolina University ( Cullowhee, North Carolina) where her classes ranged from freshman level General Chemistry to Physical Chemistry to graduate level Surface and Colloid Science.
- Co-authored two peer-reviewed research publications while attaining her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry.
- Ph.D. dissertation is entitled “A Dual Constant Composition Study of the Mineralization Kinetics of Hydroxyapatite and Human Dental Enamel: The Influence of Biologically Relevant Additives.”
