Douglas (Doug) R. Ghidina
Doug Ghidina brings 20 years of complex, high-level bankruptcy and creditors’ rights experience to clients across wide-ranging industries—from commercial real estate to manufacturing and agricultural lending, from wholesale and retail sales to transportation and trucking.
Skilled in handling real estate and personal property foreclosure actions, workouts and restructuring of defaulted credit facilities, he also boasts substantial experience advising lenders and borrowers regarding bankruptcy and bankruptcy-remoteness issues and special-purpose entities when structuring financial transactions.
He possesses further significant know-how in bankruptcy litigation and other debtor/creditor disputes, including adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court and state court remedies. He has also represented landowners in contesting involuntary annexation proceedings under North Carolina annexation laws.
