Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Wealth & Estate Planning Member Thomas Cooper served as a panelist during the ABA Virtual 2021 Fall Tax Meeting for the topic “Trusts as Owners of Closely Held Businesses.” Thomas was one of four national panelists who discussed topics including corporate matters involving trust ownership of a business, selection of fiduciaries and potential for conflicts of interest, trust ownership of S corporations, and other income tax considerations specific to trust ownership.
