President's Volunteer Award Presented to MVA Member

Charlotte Litigation Member Brian Heslin received the Corporation for National and Community Service’s President’s Volunteer Service Award for his recent work with Bhutanese Refugees.  Heslin was nominated by Catholic Social Services.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award was established by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to honor and thank Americans who, by demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.  The Award recognizes United States citizens and lawfully admitted permanent residents of the United States who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period – or cumulative hours over the course of a lifetime.
