Larry Gwaltney Speaks About Indemnification of ESOP Fiduciaries

Larry Gwaltney, co-head of Moore & Van Allen's Litigation team, spoke in Denver, Colorado at the recent 2011 Employee Ownership Conference, presented by the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and Beyster Institute at the University of California, San Diego's School of Management. Mr. Gwaltney spoke about the evolution of judicial opinions framing ESOP fiduciary indemnification issues under ERISA, including recent court decisions of note, along with drafting indemnification language to comport with ERISA requirements and what a fiduciary should look for in fiduciary insurance, during a session entitled "I Thought I was Covered: ESOPs, Indemnification, and Preparing for the Worst."
