Moore & Van Allen Launches Legal Food Fight

03.2012

FOOD FIGHT 2012 has begun!  Are you all in?  Click here to see who is.

Moore & Van Allen is challenging all Mecklenburg County attorneys to participate in the 2012 Legal Food Fight – a friendly competition that encourages individual lawyers to donate non-perishable food items in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM).  This battle of barristers will run from April 1–30.  The lawyer who donates the highest number of food items will receive the coveted title of Legal Food Fight Champion.

All donations will go directly to the Second Harvest Food Bank, whose goal is to eliminate hunger through solicitation and distribution of food to more than 650 agencies serving at-need populations.  Nearly 16% of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina’s service area population lives in poverty, including almost 185,000 children and seniors.

Attorneys can donate non-perishable food items and/or monetary contributions.  See complete details, rules, donation and drop-off information, here.  Please contact Stephanie Gryder with any questions.
