MVA Recognized with Top-Tier and National “Best Law Firms” Rankings

Moore & Van Allen was included in the 2012-2013 U.S. News - Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings, both nationally and within the Charlotte, Charleston and Raleigh regions. 

Nineteen of Moore & Van Allen’s Charlotte office practice groups received first-tier rankings, five of Moore & Van Allen’s Charleston office practice groups received first-tier rankings, and five of Moore & Van Allen’s Raleigh office practice groups received first-tier rankings.  Four of the Firm’s practice groups were also recognized nationally. The U.S. News - Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” survey ranks more than 10,000 firms in 118 practice areas in 170 metropolitan areas and 8 states. Results are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. The purpose of the “Best Law Firms” publication, which is distributed to general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide, is to guide referring lawyers and clients.
