Moore & Van Allen announces recipient of UNC Chancellor's Scholarship

Moore & Van Allen is pleased to announce that Matthew Blake Huffman, a second year University of North Carolina Law student from Salisbury, is the recipient of the Moore & Van Allen Chancellor's Scholarship for the current academic year.

Huffman received his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina in Business Administration, with highest distinction, in 2004.  He is a member of the North Carolina Law Review, co-chair of the faculty affairs academic committee and co-president of the Lambda Law Students Association. In 2007, Huffman worked as a law clerk in the office of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.

The Moore & Van Allen Chancellor’s Scholarship was established during the University of North Carolina’s Bicentennial Campaign, and is a fully endowed partnership between Moore & Van Allen and the University of North Carolina School of Law. The Chancellor's Scholarships are given in recognition of exemplary academic achievement and demonstrated leadership ability. This is the 13th year the Moore & Van Allen Chancellor's Scholarship has been awarded.
