Moore & Van Allen is Nominated for the Charlotte Business Journal’s Green Awards

Charlotte, NC – Moore & Van Allen received a nomination in the For-Profit Business category at the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2008 Green Awards.

The firm was recognized for their environmental efforts.  In 2007, the firm focused heavily on changing employees transportation habits to improve air quality in the Charlotte region.  Through the firm’s transit subsidies and other programs, it created sustainable practices designed to educate employees and motivate them to make positive changes to their commuting habits.  The firm also made strides to expand green office habits that significantly decreased wasted energy and materials.

The Charlotte Business Journal publishes an inaugural Green Book that provides information about companies recognized at the first annual Green Awards, which were held at the Charlotte Convention Center on April 16th.
