Colin represents strategic and financial buyers and sellers in a variety of complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. He has experience in a broad range of industries, such as software-as-a-service (SaaS), industrial equipment, manufacturing, healthcare, security, and digital advocacy. Colin also advises clients on corporate governance, the formation and structure of business entities, commercial contracts, and similar corporate matters.

  • Represented Capital Vision Services and MyEyeDr. in the strategic acquisition and roll-up of family optometry practices across the United States
  • Represented Frontier Growth, a Charlotte-based growth equity firm focused on software and tech-enabled business services companies, in finalizing a significant growth investment in PriceSpider, an Irvine, California-based advanced retail data and technology company that provides consumer conversion intelligence and brand optimization software to some of the world’s largest brand manufacturers
  • Represented Frontier Growth in finalizing a strategic growth investment in Phone2Action, a digital advocacy platform that connects citizens to lawmakers
  • Advised symplr, and its owners Pamlico Capital and The CapStreet Group, in connection with their entry into a definitive agreement to sell symplr to an affiliate of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.’s.  symplr is a leading healthcare governance, risk and compliance, SaaS platform
  • Represented Jensen Hughes, Inc. in its acquisition of Hillard Heintze, LLC, a leading provider of security risk management and investigative consulting services
