Michael focuses his practice on the structuring, formation, and ongoing management of a variety of private investment vehicles including private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, independent sponsor funds, SBICs, impact/responsible investing funds, and sovereign-wealth funds. Michael regularly counsels clients on U.S. federal and state investment adviser regulatory considerations, and he has practiced for extended periods in Washington, DC, and Doha, Qatar.
Michael joined the firm in 2017. Prior to that he practiced as an attorney at Goodwin Procter and Patton Boggs in Washington, DC, and as a tax accountant at Ernst & Young in New York City.
