Ryan Blumel, counsel for the firm’s Financial Services group, focuses his practice on advising financial institutions with respect to the treatment of derivative products in various single-lender and syndicated credit facilities. 

Overview

Ryan has extensive experience representing financial institutions in market value swap transactions and commercial real estate loan transactions.

In addition to his legal practice, Ryan serves as treasurer of the Charlotte Blue Ridge chapter of Mensa, the oldest IQ society in the world, and is a board member of the Hoya Hoop Club, supporting the men’s basketball program at Georgetown University.
