Kenneth (Ken) P. Kerr

Regularly representing institutional lenders, public and private borrowers, issuers, underwriters, placement agents, commercial paper conduits, liquidity providers and institutional investors, Ken Kerr has extensive experience in structured finance and financial services.

Practice focus:

  • He represents institutional lenders, public and private borrowers and commercial paper conduits in various types of warehouse and other financing transactions involving various types of mortgage loans, business loans, securities and other assets.  He has experience with various financing structures including, but not limited to, securitizations, repurchase facilities, secured credit facilities, portfolio purchases and sales, forward flow arrangements, subscription facilities, and commercial real estate lending transactions.
  • He also has experience in loan syndications and participations, and servicing, trustee and custodial arrangements.  
  • Before joining Moore & Van Allen, Kerr practiced as a commercial litigator with a national full-service law firm.
