Paul’s practice includes:

  • Complex tax-deferred exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code, including forward and reverse exchanges, ownership restructures, and construction exchanges.
  • Real estate finance, with a focus on homebuilder construction and lot development facilities.
  • Structuring of complex urban mixed-use developments, including multi-tier land condominiums and master declarations.
  • Office, retail, ground, and build-to-suit leasing.
  • Residential lot site assemblage and development.
  • Solar energy leasing, real estate due diligence and lien acquisition.
