Jon Gilmartin's experience as a law clerk in U.S. District Court enables him to assist clients with a wide array of legal issues.

Overview

Jon focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters including financial regulatory compliance issues, and internal investigations. Jon has assisted in representing large financial institutions responding to inquiries and enforcement actions from federal agencies. He also assists with conducting internal investigations and company-wide reviews and racial equity assessments.

Prior to joining the firm, Jon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rolando Olvera, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

  • Advising a large bank regarding its required response when individual shareholders cross particularized ownership thresholds
