Our group handles litigation, regulatory, intellectual property, labor and employment, and other commercial issues for our clients. With our diverse experience, our team handles all levels of representation, from pre-trial and regulatory investigations to complex trials in state and federal courts. We anticipate problems and draw on the experience of our colleagues in related practices to provide a strategic, layered approach and proactively develop solutions. Whether your matter pertains to an employment dispute, generic pharmaceutical litigation, or biosimilars, our knowledgeable team is ready to help guide you through the process.
As health care continues to be a focus of plaintiffs and regulatory agencies, our team is often called on to handle matters related to civil and criminal FCA matters, the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare reimbursement and third-party payments, internal investigations, government agency investigations, and labor and employment disputes.
We understand the impact that litigation and investigations can have on the health care professional. We partner with our clients to develop a focused approach to minimize the impact on their daily operations without compromising our legal tactics. Our team is prepared to go to trial when needed, but our ultimate goal is to provide our clients the greatest result at reasonable expense.
Even if not directly engaged in litigation or an investigation, it seems that being in the healthcare industry involves receipt of subpoenas related to civil and criminal matters. We have in-depth experience assisting our clients with navigating narrowed responses to civil litigation subpoenas, including class actions, antitrust matters, and other complex litigation. Similarly, our team assists clients with responding to grand jury subpoenas, DOJ Civil Investigative Demands, and other criminal and regulatory inquiries and requests.
