Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Member and Head of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice Zach Smith has been appointed as the 2021-22 Charlotte Legal Diversity Clerkship (CLDC) Co-chair. The CLDC is a program of Mecklenburg County Bar's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is overseen by the CLDC Subcommittee. MVA served as a founding employer of the initiative and is proud to continue its relationship with the program. To date, the CLDC program has hosted 131 students from law schools from around the country and boasts an impressive Charlotte alumni base that continues to grow through the return of CLDC clerks for 2L summer employment opportunities or as full-time attorneys.
