MVA Played Key Role at the PGA Championship
Moore & Van Allen played a key role in the PGA Championship which returned to Charlotte for the second time May 12 – 18 at Quail Hollow Club. MVA hosted hundreds of clients on the 17th green over the course of the week, and MVA’s Head of Public Affairs, Walter Price served as the Vice Chairman for the PGA Championship.
Walter helped to direct tournament operations and connected pertinent city and state government leaders to ensure attendees had a safe and efficient experience at the tournament. Walter worked closely with event Chairman Johno Harris, Vice Chair Geoff Gray, and the Quail Hollow and PGA Championship teams to execute this major event for Charlotte.
MVA was also represented by MVA Office Services staff, Terry Raye who served as the hole captain on the 17th green. Raye has volunteered at professional golf events played at Quail Hollow Club for several years.
Professional golf will return to Charlotte in May 2026 with the inaugural Truist Championship to take place at Quail Hollow.
