Sarah Sheridan to Chair the Duke Law Alumnae Leadership Council in 2026
MVA’s Sarah Sheridan will serve as Chair of the Duke Law Alumnae Leadership Council for the 2026 calendar year, with her term beginning January 1 and concluding December 31.
A magna cum laude graduate of Duke University School of Law, Sarah has remained actively involved with the Duke community through her roles on the Duke Law Alumnae Leadership Council, the Duke Law Charlotte Alumni Board, and previously the Duke Law New York Alumni Board. Her appointment as Chair reflects the progression of her long-term engagement with the alumnae network.
At MVA, Sarah is a Member of the Litigation group and represents clients in complex commercial matters, including financial services disputes, shareholder derivative litigation, class actions, and other business cases. She has been recognized by Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation and Best Lawyers in America for her work. Sarah also serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas and maintains a pro bono practice focused on children’s educational rights.
